Brasserie Dupont In
1920 Louis Dupont, an agricultural engineer, was tempted
to purchase a farming estate in Canada. In order
to keep him in Belgium his father, Alfred Dupont,
bought him instead the Rimaux-Deridder farm-brewery,
established in 1844 in Tourpes and well known for
its honey-flavoured beer "Bière de Miel".

Boon, who started as a blender, is considered by many
to be the leading revivalist Lambic brewer in Belgium
today. Boon is remarkable for making completely traditional
products, and yet having the softest and most drinkable
Lambics.

more.Brasserie Dubuisson The Dubuisson
Brewery, which celebrated its 225th anniversary in
1994, was founded in 1769 by Joseph Leroy an ancestor
of the Dubuisson family. The family's involvement
in brewing is older still as Joseph Leroy and his
family brewed on the Ghissegnies' estate right in
front of the present day brewery.

Established in 1926 by three brothers, Brasserie Delomel was taken over by Castelain in 1966. Their children Yves and Annick, have been at the helm of this traditional, independent brewery of the Nord-Pas de Calais Region, bordering the Flanders and Artois Regions, since 1978.

Brewery Slaghmuylder was established in 1860. Today the handsome 135 year old brewery and adjacent museum is overseen by three cousins who are descendants of the founder Emmanuel Slaghmuylder, a grain merchant turned brewer.
